Prior to switching to GitHub, changing various projects at once, which meant changing various ChangeLog files, would show the changed files in the commit message with a section for each project. For instance: https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/commit/f7d646ec921b13baa821bb647981bb3f021cdd84. These sections are now gone with `git webkit commit`, but I think they help writing nicer commit messages.
